SHAMANISM AND CONTEMPORARY THERAPY Christa Mackinnon |
||||||||||||
| Traditional
male and female shamans all over the world are seen as the guardians of
the psychic and ecological equilibrium of their groups and its members;
the healers of body, mind and soul; dreamers and visionaries; intermediaries
between the worlds and connected to all levels of consciousness.
Traditional shamans have always known what modern science, especially Quantum Physics, finally proved in recent years, namely, that everything is in its essence made of vibrations and that the universe is a living, energetically interconnected web. They have also always worked from the assumption that consciousness is ‘holographic’, non-local and therefore without boundaries, and have used various means to alter their states in order to see, experience and perceive the world in the form of vibrational fields and to utilize those for healing, connecting, envisioning, dreaming and gaining power. Their work, the therapeutic and healing, is done within those realms in an altered state. In the process of their journeying into subconscious and parallel realities they have acquired a vast knowledge about those realms; their landscapes and maps; their archetypal imageries, languages and fields and about the teachers and helpers available. Many of our modern psychotherapeutic methods have ultimately their roots in shamanism, but shamanism is much more than contemporary therapy. Shamanism offers us a rich and powerful repertoire of ways, means and techniques to enter altered states as well as extraordinarily powerful ways to work within those realms. |
Within this highly experiential Masterclass we will explore how we can integrate basic shamanic ways of seeing the world and the human being within it, entering altered states and basic therapeutic healing approaches into contemporary therapeutic practice. SYLLABUS:

RELATIONSHIP SUCCESS Avy Joseph |

| Probably
no subject has attracted more attention or fascinated us more than the
subject of love and affection for another human being. Therefore, it is
not surprising that much of our thoughts and energies have been devoted
to love; a lack of it or having too much of it.
Finding out why people maintain unhealthy relationships, form needy attachments or find rejection devastating is an important step forward but for the majority of people it is not enough. Learning how to make positive change to break free from self destructive attachments and habits and learning how to maintain healthy, rewarding and fulfilling relationships is what most people want to be able to do. This Masterclass provides both thought provoking insights and helpful and effective ways for moving on or for achieving successful relationships. |
This
Masterclass has been developed for both individuals and practitioners.
Individuals will have the opportunity to question and to practice. Practitioners
will learn how to deal with and help patients who are having love and relationship
problems
