British Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education (BAC)

As a result of our constant efforts towards wider recognition of the London College of Clinical Hypnosis training courses, the LCCH is pleased to announce that their courses have now been accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education as “efficient for Independent Further and Higher Education for the provision of training courses in cinical hypnosis.”

The London College of Clincal Hypnosis has always maintained that clinical hypnosis should become an intergral part of mainstream education and move away from self-appointed bodies.

OPEN UNIVERSITY

In addition to the news about the BAC, the Open University has further recognised the LCCH training courses for levels one and two credits respectively. Ex-students who might wish to claim these OU specific credits should contact their local course co-ordinator for details of eligibility.

UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH

It really has been a very busy six months since the last issue of the LCCH News, and we are further proud to announce the accreditation of the Certificate Course in Clinical Hypnosis by the University of Greenwich of 30 credits at level one. (Diploma and Practitioner Diploma under current review.) Students wishing to continue their studies can submit their credits to the University of Greenwich for advanced standing towards one of its awards, or to any other higher education institution which recognises such credit.

Ex-students wishing to claim credit should contact the London office and details on eligibility will be sent to them. Alternatively, contact info@lcch.co.uk stating whether you wish to apply for University of Greenwich and/or Open University credits.

EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF CLINICAL HYPNOSIS (EJCH)

We are pleased to announce that the EJCH is finally to resume publication. The Journal has now been handed over to The British Association of Medical Hypnosis which has taken control of editorial matters. (See page 3).

A WEEKEND WITH BOB G. BODENHAMER

The LCCH is delighted to announce that Bob Bodenhamer, on his first ever visit to London, will present a two-day Workshop entitled: ‘Seven “Keys” to Personal Change’ on 10/11 November at Imperial College, London.

Bob Bodenhamer and L. Michael Hall’s book, The User’s Manual For The Brain is the most comprehensive NLP manual to date, and is now recommended reading for LCCH students.

This is a not to be missed opportunity for hypnotherapists and NLP practitioners to acquaint themselves with a variety of Bob Bodenhamer’s innovative approaches to personal change. (See article on pages 12-13 and the enclosed booking form.)
