UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH ACCREDITATION
COURSE CHANGES
As part of the ongoing accreditation process with the
University of Greenwich the LCCH Certificate and Diploma
courses and examinations are changing. These changes are
required to maintain the college’s academic accreditation with
the University of Greenwich. In order to demonstrate the
student’s knowledge and understanding of the course mate-
rial the multiple-choice and short-answer questions will be
replaced by a one hour short– answer paper. The oral and
practical exams will be merged.
To assist LCCH student’s in their learning the college will be
introducing additional reflective work as part of each week-
end’s course content. This reflective work will be designed to
allow students, tutors and course co-ordinators to monitor
and manage the student’s progress through the course.
These changes are currently being considered and will be
introduced over the next few months and applied to courses
and examinations taking place after this summer. More infor-
mation will be provided to students, tutors and course co-
ordinators in the near future. If you have any questions please
contact Maggie Chapman or Tod Cury at the LCCH office.
