Nursing in Practice
The LCCH was at the Nursing in Practice shows in
Birmingham, London and Manchester. We were very well
received and able to promote the therapeutic benefits of
hypnosis. We had good feedback from the nurses and they
showed great interest. However some had been unsure about
finding out about hypnotherapy or how and where to find
reputable practitioners to recommend to patients. As a result
we produced leaflets which guide people to the hypnotherapy
awareness site, where they can find out about clinical
hypnosis. It is also linked to the BSCH where you can look
for a qualified practitioner. The hypnotherapy awareness site
is constantly updated and is a resource which you can guide
patients to if you have not got your own website. There is a
freephone number so they can call for more information.
Many students who do promotional shows and talks often tell
us they are asked about their training. Sometimes people
want to look for a course that will suit their needs. To this end
they can also look up the LCCH details on the site as well. If
you do talks or shows and would like some leaflets to give to
people which cover all of the above then please email me,
Amanda Wilson at pr@lcch.co.uk. These leaflets can support
and compliment your own literature. The ones for medical
personnel are already printed and the ones for the general
public are in production.
Parking at Gloucester Place, London
For those of you who find it easier to travel to Gloucester
Place by car: we have managed to negotiate a favourable
rate with the NCP Car Park in Portman Square (a minute
down the road from Gloucester Place).
Standard rates are: £1 per 15 minutes to a max of £25 per
day. Discounted rates are: £2 per hour (or part hour) capped
at £16 for up to 24 hours. Take your ticket and park your car
as per normal. Ask a member of LCCH staff for a car park
voucher. When you collect your car, present your car park
ticket followed by your discount ticket before making
payment. Please be aware that using your car during
weekdays you will be liable for the congestion charge.
Refresher Courses at the LCCH
For many students who studied with us some time ago, they
may feel that it would benefit them enormously to refresh
their knowledge. The LCCH would like to remind all past
students that they have the opportunity to attend a refresher
weekend in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Over the last couple of
years the LCCH Certificate and Diploma course have been
developed and new information and areas of study have been
added. Attending a refresher weekend not only allows
practitioners to revise knowledge but also offers them the
opportunity to update their studies with new information. If
you would like to attend one of these weekends please
contact the London office and we will send you a booking
form for the next available course.

Many students travel up to London for Masterclasses and
other courses, and have requested information regarding
