Pain is a signal from the body that something is wrong and needs addressing.

It’s a clear communication process which enables our bodies to act as a barometer for our emotional health.

When addressing pain, there are 2 main approaches within EFT:

1. Working with the physical pain as it presents itself
2. Digging underneath the physical pain and looking for emotional issues.

Predominantly, physical issues and pain are manifestations of unresolved emotional issues, and EFT addresses those issues.

EFT is a simple tapping technique that works with the body’s energy system to rebalance the flow of energy throughout the meridian channels. When there is a blockage of energy in the system, there is a resultant negative feeling or emotion, which could be a pain or some sort.

Pain is always accompanied with emotion and it is often resolving the emotional content that is the key to releasing the pain.

ALISON MUNRO BSc(Hons) Pysch; EFT-ADV; AAMET; PDC.Hyp; MBSCHqualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist through the LCCH in 2001 and currently supervises and tutors for the college. She is an Advanced EFT Practitioner and an EFT Trainer. Her EFT trainings are approved by the EFT Founder, Gary Craig. Alison’s private practice and EFT Level’s 1 and 2 trainings are predominantly based in London.
