Q: What are the clinical applications of CBH?
A: CBH teaches you how to make a clinical assessment of the emotional, behavioural and symptomatic state or problems of your client, as well as enabling them to make the necessary changes to achieve their desired goal. This means that you can work with a vast number of different problems, from the simple to the very complex.
Q: What qualification will the Practitioner Diploma in CBH and the Diploma in CBH for Healthcare Professionals provide?
A: A Practitioner’s Diploma gives full membership to the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. In other words this diploma course gives an equivalent qualification to that of the Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. The Diploma in CBH for Healthcare Professionals gives an Associate membership status.
Q: There are topics on the syllabus of the diploma in CBH that are similar to some covered by the Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. Is the information repeated?
A: No.Topics such as depression, anxiety etc, which we cover on the Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis are taught from a Cognitive and Behavioural perspective with new treatments and different treatment protocols.
Q: What are the required number of tutorials?
A: You are required to complete a minimum of Twelve (12) tutorials for the Diploma in CBH for Healthcare Professionals and a minimum of Eight (8) tutorials for the Practitioner Diploma in CBH.
Q: Can I practise CBH whilst I am studying?
A: Yes, if you are a qualified Hypnotherapist or registered therapist. Practising CBH whilst studying is encouraged.
