He obtained his hypnotherapy qualifications - traditional, Ericksonian and NLP - in England and the United States and now has over twenty years experience as a practitioner, researcher and trainer. He is the publisher of the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis (EJCH) and founder President of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Mr Joseph was instrumental in the development of the full LCCH training programme in the clinical use of hypnosis.

Peter Mabbutt

Peter originally trained in Psychopharmacology and spent many years undertaking research in the fields of anxiety, tranquiliser dependence, learning and memory, and phobias before training with the LCCH in Clinical Hypnotherapy. He now has extensive experience in hypnotherapy and lectures internationally on the subject. He has been instrumental in setting up the Hypnotherapy Pain Management Clinic and research programme at University of Malaya Hospital, Kuala Lumpur. Peter is also a consultant for the Hypnotherapy Unit at the Pantai Hospital in Kuala Lumpur. He regularly lectures to the international medical community on the use of hypnosis. Peter is Vice President of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is co-author of the popular Hypnotherapy for Dummies, and Self-Hypnosis for Dummies. Peter is a regular guest on radio shows in the UK and Southeast Asia where he discusses hypnotherapy and related subjects.

Feisal Umar

Feisal has worked in the complementary therapies industry for over seventeen years. His extensive experience and knowledge has allowed him to work as a specialist lecturer teaching students at a range of colleges to both further education and degree levels. He is now a Senior Lecturer for the LCCH and student Director of Studies.

Charles Caruana

Charles comes from a psychoanalytic/psychotherapy background, qualifying in 1986. After practising for many years as a full-time psychoanalytic psychotherapist, Charles decided to investigate other forms of therapies which might also produce beneficial but quicker results for his patients. He undertook his training with the LCCH, realising that such training would help equip him to work more effectively as a clinician, and qualified with distinction in 1998.

Bill migrated to hypnotherapy from the defense / information technology management sectors having trained with the LCCH. He has more than 20 years experience in the coaching and personal development industry. He has been involved in various hypnotherapy research projects including the development of computer based tools to assist therapists. He has hypnotherapy practices in Central London and in High Wycombe and has developed a reputation for the successful treatment of trauma, addictions and anxiety based conditions generally. He has appeared on both TV and Radio shows discussing various aspects of psychotherapy. As well a senior lecturer with the LCCH, Bill's role within the college encompasses responsibility for the LCCH's digital marketing strategy and use of technology.

Julia Lewis

Julia is a full time hypnotherapist and personal development coach working in Central London. Spending more than 25 years within a public sector organisation, Julia’s MSc research and subsequent clinical focus has been towards dealing with all types of anxiety, particularly the increasingly prevalent issue of workplace anxiety. From a musical background, Julia also specialises in dealing with a comprehensive range of performance related issues, including: performance anxiety; procrastination and perfectionism; and performance enhancement. An advocate of positive psychology principles, believing that “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” in addition to using hypnosis in a clinical setting, Julia incorporates this into her work as a personal development coach.

Angela Trainer

Angela graduated from Glasgow University in 1980 with a degree in Psychology. She specialises in obsessive compulsive disorders (OCDs), the eradication of unwanted habits, women's issues, and the successful treatment of eating disorders. Angela is Stress Management consultant to several large corporations and regional authorities and has her own radio programme, Alternative Answers, in Glasgow.

Marian Duffy

Marian is Practice Manager at the Harvest Clinic. Her professional background includes working with traumatised children, self esteem training for young people, therapeutic care elderly patients and is involved in health initiative projects working in the community on self-esteem issues. She is also a Reiki Master and an NLP practitioner who trained with Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler.

Amanda Evans

Amanda Evans is a full time professional, fully qualified, and experienced clinical hypnotherapist with clinics throughout Yorkshire. Amanda works from private clinics based in Barnsley, Huddersfield, and Leeds. She is also a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and as such abides by their strict code of ethics. Running along side her clinical hypnosis practice she is the course co-ordinator for Leeds and Manchester.

Sheila Menon is the Principal for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (Asia-Australia). She has over 20 years' experience as a clinical hypnotherapist and is a Fellow of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis and the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She is also the past president of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Being a hands-on Principal, Sheila lectures in London and Asia. She is also one of the Directors of the LCCH Therapy Centre at Pantai Hospital KL. Sheila is also the International Liaison for the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a regular contributor on BFM 89.9 Radio Station and Shape magazine.

Tess Serrano

Tess Serrano has an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Lancaster, and has been a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) since 1993. In 1995 she completed a Master's Degree in Environmental Ethics and Values at the University of Lancaster. She had an internship at the Jewish Social Services in Manchester, helping to support institutionalized patients and their integration into the community. She studied with LCCH in Manchester and has been a practicing clinical hypnotherapist in Portugal since 2000. She also served as a Human Resources Advisor from 2000-2010, until she took over the Direction of London College of Clinical Hypnosis in Portugal, where she runs regular courses in Porto and Lisbon. She is also an EMDR therapist and member of the EMDR Association of Portugal.

Amanda Farr

Amanda held qualifications in NLP, Thought Field Therapy and Counselling before studying Clinical Hypnotherapy with the LCCH. She is a senior member of the faculty and a Fellow of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Amanda specialises in depression and anxiety disorders, she also has a special interest in performance enhancement in all areas of life.

Elizabeth Sullivan

Elizabeth originally trained as an Accountant in New Zealand, before moving to London and working in the City. Elizabeth is now a full time Hypnotherapist and Relationship Coach. She trained with the LCCH in London and lectures and tutors for them; she is also qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. She has had specialist training in Weight Management, Confidence, Public Speaking and Stress Management. She is a Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Graham Watts

He graduated from Strathclyde University with a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, specializing in Person Centred Therapy and also trained in the Externalization Process with the legendary Elizabeth Kubler Ross. He is Drugs Co-ordinator for Glasgow City Council and is currently engaged in research of withdrawal symptom management using hypnotherapy. Graham is Agony Uncle for the Big Issue (Scotland) and is currently producing his own Radio Series with the BBC. Graham lectures for the LCCH as well as presenting a variety of Masterclasses such as Addiction and Relationships.

Dr Kate Beaven-Marks

Dr Kate is a lecturer, tutor, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Associate of Trinity College London. Kate teaches and examines widely, in Further and Higher Education. With the LCCH, she lectures and tutors MSc. Clinical Hypnosis students and supervises the final year students during their research phase. Dr Kate is an experienced and highly qualified clinical hypnotist and therapeutic practitioner, with special interests in pain and anxiety, working with a wide range of hypnotherapeutic approaches, within the NHS (in ward settings), corporately, and with private clients. She has extensive qualifications in psychology, clinical and medical hypnosis, hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour and NLP to advanced levels. She has specialist qualifications and training in pain, trauma (EMDR, IEMT), anxiety, and smoking cessation, together with assertiveness training, working with domestic violence, working with recovered memory, nutrition, and infection control. She is the Chair of the BSCH and on the Profession Specific Board (Hypnotherapy) at the CNHC.
